Rachel Rickert (b. 1990, Bethesda, MD) lives and works in Joshua Tree, CA, and received her MFA from the New York Studio School and BFA from Washington University in St. Louis. She has exhibited nationally and internationally with galleries including Lowell Ryan Projects (Los Angeles), Jill Newhouse Gallery (New York), and Capsule Shanghai, and her work is held in collections such as the Xiao Museum of Contemporary Art (Shandong, China) and the Boise City Department of Arts and History. Rickert has participated in residencies including Jentel, the Vermont Studio Center, and the James Castle House, and her work has been featured in The Paris Review, Two Coats of Paint, and The New Criterion.
